It’s been a 2-year whirlwind for Smart Energy Group.
By the time the company celebrated its first birthday, SEG had already installed over 21,000 residential solar panels between Northern New South Wales and Southern Queensland alone.
With the huge up-take of solar, SEG has outgrown its humble office in Ewingsdale.
Working is currently underway on an exciting new HQ conveniently located around the corner in the Byron Bay industrial estate.
Co-founder Elliot Hayes says the new space will be fitted with renewable materials, in line with the company’s values.
“The old corporate style office that we’re currently in doesn’t reflect us as a business. Our new space will be fitted out with raw and recycled materials,” he said.
The 400-square-metre space means all areas of the business will expand, including staff numbers, which are expected to increase by more than 50%.
“We want to ensure we have more staff than needed to cover our customers, giving them the best experience possible,” Mr Hayes said.
The new space will give SEG the ability to secure the best possible deal for customers while providing a spacious hub for all things solar.
“With the addition to our solar monitoring service we now offer, we want to ensure we’re always able to check over our customer’s data to ensure their systems are preforming at the top of their ability,” Mr Hayes said.
Join us for our grand opening at the end of August.
